Exam Pattern (CBT)
The Computer Based Test (CBT) consists of 100 questions to be answered in 90 minutes. There is a negative marking of 1/3rd mark for each wrong answer.

Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
Candidates who qualify the CBT will have to appear for PET. It is qualifying in nature.

Process of Form Filling (Reference) & Key Mistakes to Avoid

- Step 1: One Time Registration (OTR): Candidates created an account on the RRB website using Aadhar verification, Email, and Mobile number.
- Step 2: Zone Selection: Candidates had to choose only ONE Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) zone. Multiple applications result in rejection.
- Step 3: Post Preference: Candidates marked preferences for posts (e.g., Track Maintainer, Pointsman) based on their medical standard eligibility.

- Photo: White background, size 30-70KB, taken after notification release.
- Signature: Running hand (not block letters), size 30-70KB.
- SC/ST Certificate: For free travel authority.
⚠️ Common Mistakes That Led to Rejection/Issues:
- Invalid Photo: Photos with glasses, caps, or poor visibility were a primary cause of rejection.
- Signature Mismatch: Signatures in capital letters are invalid.
- Bank Details: Incorrect bank details prevent the refund of the examination fee after the CBT.

- Visit the official website of your applied RRB region (e.g., RRB Mumbai, RRB Patna).
- Click on the link titled "CEN 08/2024 - E-Call Letter / City Intimation Slip".
- Enter your Registration Number and Date of Birth (DD-MM-YYYY) as the password.
- Your Exam City details will appear. If your exam is within 4 days, the "Download E-Call Letter" button will be active.
- Print the Admit Card and read the "Instructions to Candidates" carefully (especially regarding Biometric Auth and Original ID proof).
