Eligibility Criteria (Qualification)
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed).
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
- Graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
- Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
- Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4-year B.El.Ed.
- Any candidate having qualified B.Ed Programme recognized by the NCTE is eligible to appear in TET/CTET.

Process of Form Filling & Key Mistakes to Avoid
Follow these steps carefully to ensure your application is accepted.

Step 1: Registration: Visit the official website
ctet.nic.inand click on "Apply Online". Register using your Email ID and Mobile Number. - Step 2: Fill Application Form: Enter personal details, mother's/father's name exactly as per Class 10th certificate. Select the Examination City preference carefully.

Step 3: Upload Documents:
- Photograph: JPG/JPEG format, size 10 to 100 KB.
- Signature: JPG/JPEG format, size 3 to 30 KB.
- Step 4: Fee Payment: Pay the examination fee via Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking. Keep the receipt for future reference.
- Step 5: Confirmation Page: Print the Confirmation Page for your records. Do NOT send it to the CBSE.
Key Mistakes to Avoid:
- Language Selection: Be very careful while choosing Language I and Language II. They must be different languages.
- Code Selection: Verify the code for your educational qualification (e.g., Code 1 for D.El.Ed, Code 2 for B.Ed etc.) from the information bulletin before selecting.
- Name Mismatch: Ensure your name and parents' names match exactly with your 10th-grade mark sheet. Speling errors often lead to verification issues later.
